Diane Rambo honored as a retail design luminary.

design:retail Portfolio Awards, an annual competition recognizing the best, brightest, and most innovative people, projects, and companies within the retail design industry, named Diane Rambo as a Retail Design Luminary. The Retail Design Luminaries are talented individuals who represent creative excellence, professional leadership, and personal commitment to the industry.

Design Luminaries are nominated by the magazine’s readers through an online survey. Rambo’s peers see her as dedicated, passionate, and driven; attributes that make her an inspiring leader and a trusted resource for associates and clients alike.

Aaron Spiess, founder and Executive Vice President of Big Red Rooster and a past recipient of the award, witnesses Diane’s sphere of influence over the design studio daily. “Her more than 30 years of working in this industry and having touched, influenced, or affected the outcome of so many global brands, clients, and people is almost unprecedented. As most Luminaries for the past, she fell in love with this industry and helped define it as a profession for others to aspire to be a part of. Her tireless passion and dedication for doing great work is a shining star for all.”

Rambo received the award at the annual Portfolio Awards Dinner held during the design:retail Forum in Detroit on September 13th.
