FedEx Office wanted to remain relevant in the face of a changing workplace — where more people were working remotely or operating small businesses from home. They teamed with Big Red Rooster to design a store that provides an accessible way for customers to work.

Business Challenge

FedEx Office decided to capture the growing market of remote workers and small office / home office businesses by creating a customer experience that catered to the small business owner’s needs. Together, FedEx Office and BRR designed a store that offered marketing/design services, customized packing, curb-side pickup, a 24/7 drop box, and a work lounge for those who need access to computers.

Solution

With the original four test stores exceeding project goals, the FedEx Office gave the green light to transition the remaining 1,900 locations.
