With more than 48,000 employees and 6,200 licensed beds, Carolinas HealthCare System (CHS) is a healthcare industry leader and the third largest healthcare organization in the United States.

As CHS continued to grow, it defined a need to effectively onboard the 6,500 new hires that join its team each year. Big Red Rooster partnered with CHS to reimagine its onboarding process and identify an ideal onboarding experience.

Extensive qualitative research unveiled consumer insights that fueled the ideal employee journey. We brought the employee journey map to life through a video, which emphasized how a reimagined experience could impact the entire organization. We worked with CHS to help the healthcare organization reach its ideal onboarding state across eight different work streams.
