Summary

We are looking for a Sr. Graphic Designer to join our studio in Columbus, Ohio. This person will work in a team environment to develop highly innovative and creative graphic solutions for strategically driven projects. This role is hybrid, requiring a combination of in-office and remote working. Occasional travel may be required from time to time based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Develops creative and graphic concepts that can be successfully measured against creative brief
• Executes projects from concept to mockups
• Takes graphic concepts from initial exploration through development and refinement to final art
• Solves challenges through strategically insightful and creative design executed at a world class level
• Able to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
• Understand brand standards and style guides
• Interacts regularly with Creative Director and team members as needed for the completion of assigned projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in visual communications, graphic design or art school degree
• Impressive portfolio that shows the understanding and interpretation of brands
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience
• Agency experience is required
• Retail experience is a plus
• Information design is a plus
• Excellent computer skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design and PowerPoint)
• Ability to effectively communicate concepts and ideas to others through written, drawn and verbal means
• Seeks out and responds well to feedback and art direction
• Good listening skills
• Ability to follow though on written or verbal direction
• Ability to work independently or with little supervision
• Client contact and follow through
• Experience with working with various vendors and securing cost estimates
