Senior Account Director

Responsible for executing clients strategic action plans to exceed expectations. Manage, maintain, and build on existing client relationships and contribute to new business efforts.  Work with strategy and creative teams to execute and ensure timely, profitable, and successful completion.  Inspires and ignites a passion for strategic and creative excellence while effectively maintaining operational efficiencies. Leverages network and industry expertise to drive client growth and agency excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with client and internal teams to ensure overall alignment and awareness of strategic direction.  Collaborates with internal and external teams to produce measurable results
  • Supports Creative Director and Strategy Lead in overall program execution
  • Partners with team members developing, supporting, and guiding the presentation of concepts and final deliverables
  • Sets realistic and actionable goals
  • Develops and executes workflow logistics for efficient and effective program implementation
  • Builds and maintains highly skilled and motivated teams
  • Upholds quality and brand standards
  • Provides discipline expertise
  • Manage and balance the lines between strategy/creative expression and business objectives
  • Manages through conflict and unforeseen challenges to achieve project goals
  • Overall accountability for approvals on all deliverables prior to client presentation
  • Strives to constantly improve the process and quality of deliverables
  • Accountable for operating within the defined budgets and timelines
  • Develops and contributes to thought leadership
  • Leverages professional network to identify new business growth opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of ten years of leadership experience in an agency environment
  • Strong portfolio with experience in retail and consumer behavior
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationship at all levels
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Excels at being agile, flexible, and resourceful
  • Is a self-starter and constantly curious
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to excel under pressure
  • Must have a critical eye for details
  • Strong follow up and follow through
  • Must have a solid business/financial acumen
  • Must have a track record of success in building, developing, and managing successful teams with diverse skillsets
