From roadside assistance to travel deals, the AAA Ohio Auto Club offers a wide range of benefits for its members: but it was best known for its popular TripTik Travel Planners. With a business strategy focused on increasing awareness of its vast offerings, AAA turned to Big Red Rooster to transform the centers and design a retail-inspired experience.
We helped AAA create a new distribution model that offered an informative, compelling environment for AAA’s members. The service center embodied AAA’s story and activated its brand.
We kicked off the redesign by diving deep into the brand. Big Red Rooster worked with Ohio Auto Club executives to identify core consumer groups and develop a strong positioning that resonated with its target audience: all while aligning with AAA’s brand strategy.
Insights informed an inspired design that aligned with AAA’s overall value proposition: “peace of mind.” Our team identified opportunities to create a sense of discovery and sell more products and services within the service center environment. The new retail solution highlighted products, communicated benefits and enhanced value.
After launching the new prototype, AAA reported an 18 percent sales increase.
